As part of the work with the Terrestrial Biodiversity Climate Change Collaborative (TBC3), Naia and David organized a workshop for land managers for Bay Area on climate ready vegetation management in the Bay Area. The workshop featured scenario-planning exercises and a discussion of how bioclimatic models can help adapt management plans in face of climate change. We also discussed how to improve the Climate Ready Vegetation Reports (found here) that we published last year to inform management decisions.
This pilot workshop was organized together with Lisa Micheli and Sam Veloz, and with the help and participation from several lab members.
